A flat metal roof is a roofing system in which the structural support is made of profiled steel sheets (corrugated or trapezoidal). The profiled sheet acts as a load-bearing element for the upper roof layers (vapour barrier, thermal insulation, waterproofing).
Where is it used?
Flat metal roofs are frequently used in:
They are particularly preferred in buildings with steel or composite structures (steel + concrete).
FIBRANgeo-BP and Rock ROOF stone wool boards provide flat metal roofs with excellent thermal insulation, high mechanical strength, acoustic absorption, and fire protection. The L-shaped edges of FIBRANgeo-BP boards eliminate thermal bridges and reduce the risk of mechanical resistance issues that may occur during installation.
FIBRANgeo SI-080 trapezoidal elements made of stone wool have been specially designed to fit into the trapezoidal channels (valleys) of flat metal roofs and/or composite panels, thereby ensuring additional thermal insulation and enhancing the mechanical integrity of the entire insulation system. The elements can be supplied in standard dimensions or custom-made according to project specifications.

FIBRANskin membranes offer maximum efficiency with minimal thickness.
The trapezoid elements FIBRANgeo SI-080 TRAPEZOID stonewool have been specially developed for installation in the channels (valleys) of the trapezoid metal roof or panel sheets, thus providing extra thermal insulation and increased mechanical integrity of the insulation system. The elements are offered in standard dimensions or cut-to-measure according to project.
The FIBRANgeo INCLINE stonewool boards are prepared in the factory according to the drawings of the roof area, taking into consideration water drainage and plan details. The boards arrive on site pre-cut with the desired inclination, each with clear lettering for easy installation.
