The insulation material adheres to the substrate using a hydraulic adhesive. In special cases, dispersion adhesives in the form of ready-to-use paste are available on the market. In most cases, anchors are additionally used for the mechanical fixing of insulation boards. The selection and installation of anchors depend on the type and thickness of the insulation material, the substrate, as well as the shape, height, and location of the building where the ETICS system is applied.
To prevent thermal bridges, after installing the anchors, FIBRAN provides FIBRANgeo CAPS, which are applied over the anchors. These improve the energy performance of the façade, help maintain its aesthetic appearance, and extend its service life.
